The artist was born in southern Gansu Province, China. From 2011 to 2015, she studied at Communication University of China, majoring in Theatrical, Film and Television Art Design, and obtained a Bachelor's degree. From 2015 to 2018, she studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Image and Symbolic Language, and received a Master's degree.
Qi Le's recent creations start from her own intimate and subtle experiences, presenting an intuitive description driven by the body. Her childhood memories in the mountainous area have long influenced her artistic creation. All the details from herself and nature are repeatedly staged in Qi Le's paintings. They represent the inner world of the body and the temporal and spatial gaps when one suddenly loses focus.
