"Arched Wave: Beyond the Boundaries of Geography" is the first group exhibition of local Hunan artists curated by ARCH GALLERY since its establishment. It is also the second group exhibition aimed at promoting and developing contemporary artists from Hunan. Furthermore, it represents an in-depth exploration of contemporary art in Hunan.
In the critical discourse of contemporary art, internationalization and globalization seem to be regarded as essential characteristics of artistic contemporaneity. However, if a work of art lacks roots in the creator's personal living environment and cultural foundation, how can its authenticity, relevance, and narrative effectiveness be established?
